Are you tired of hearing about Wish? Good. Because I'm not done showing you what I bought while I was there. 

Well, I bought this peplum top there. And it's my new fav. Love the color. Love the cut. Love that it makes me look like I have something resembling a waste. Love everything about it.

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great Monday!

It is no surprise that I really like bright colors. When I saw this skirt, I knew that I had to buy it! It's from Target and this style skirt is my new favorite. It's fitted without being too tight. It's a great weight fabric. It has pockets. It is the right length for work. Yep, perfect skirt.

Ethan! Stop being ridiculous and take my picture! SHEESH!

Outfit: WISH

Well, I'm back! Back from vacation, back to my routine, and back to blogging. I know you're overflowing with happiness.

As you may remember, New Orleans is home to my favorite clothing store in all the world: WISH. When we go to New Orleans, I save up for months to be able to shop to my little heart's desire. You will probably notice a lot of new WISH pieces in my outfit posts coming up. I got some really great pieces! 

Here's one of them now...the perfect maxi dress. This one is perfect for several reasons:

1. A maxi dress is the most comfortable thing you can wear to work. Remember, it's like wearing pajamas at your desk. This one is no exception...so soft!

2. This dress is easy to style.  A belt. A scarf. A cardigan. Different shoes. Dress it up, dress it down. Whatever you wish!

3. Color blocking.

4. Modest.

5. From WISH.

Also, I have been trying to air dry my hair more and use less heat styling on it this summer. Still getting used to it, but my hair is very soft styled like that.

I hope you're having a great day! We are headed home from Ethan's little brother's high school graduation today. Yay! We love going home to visit. 

So, this is an outfit I wore one Sunday. What can I say? I just really like a little dress...so comfy! Just throw on a cardigan and sandals and you are good to go!

I love a maxi skirt or dress because they are just so comfortable! I mean, sitting at my desk all day, it's really nice to feel like you're wearing the comfy equivalent of pajamas.

Outfit Tuesday: Lace

Happy Tuesday, you guys!!

I saw a post from LOFT on Facebook Sunday night that said Monday is a great day to get really dressed up for work. Agreed.

So I pulled out my favorite lace skirt and got to work finding a shirt that I liked with it. This skirt is easy to remix because it goes with just about everything!

Outfit Tuesday: Stripes

I like the website, Modcloth, a lot. They have a whole section of "longer lengths" skirts for people like me...girls with long legs who have a hard time finding skirts that are knee length to wear to work. However, Modcloth can be pretty pricey. I liked this skirt the first time I saw it and I happened to check in on it every few weeks. And finally...it was on clearance! They had 1 skirt left and it was in my size so I snatched it up! It is difficult to style because the colors are very distinct, but I'm working on it.

Also, I finally got the nude pumps I had my eye on. Woo hoo!

Outfit Tuesday: Stripes and Dots

I've been wanting to branch out with some pattern mixing in my wardrobe, but have been too timid to try it. I decided that today was the day! I selected the pieces last night, making sure they worked together, and because I was running a tad late this morning, I didn't have the option to try to pick out a new outfit. I was forced to go with the stripes and polka dots ensemble. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Outfit Tuesday: Crowd Pleaser

I wasn't planning on blogging this outfit when I got ready this morning. However, all day long people were so sweet to tell me how much they liked this outfit and my hair. First of all, it is so encouraging when people give compliments like that. I mean, they don't have to, but it always is nice when random people say something so nice to you. So remember that next time you see someone who looks nice or something and tell them you think so. It'll make their day. For real.

Outfit Tuesday: Layers

 Today, I decided I needed interest in my outfit to wear to work. I can only wear dress pants on Fridays and these are really the only pair I have, so Friday's get pretty boring. So I took my favorite blazer, my favorite cardigan, and one of my favorite shirts and put it all together. I was really happy with it and with how warm it was because this was a day in Texas that it decided to feel like winter!

Remember the Saturday episode when I talked about the things and people I love? Well, this is the headband that I am wearing in that post. Except this time, I wore it differently.

I really like my headband. When I wore it to work one day, someone asked me if it was from Anthropologie! It certainly is that cute and cool, but it's only $10 and the proceeds go to help bring home Baby Roberts!

Outfit Tuesday: Neon

I cannot tell you how excited I am that neon is in this season. I pretty much wear neon colors all the time, it's just now, I'm trendy when I do! Also, this lipstick is my favorite: Covergirl Lip Perfection in Spellbound. Rich, creamy, bright.

My second-day hair: pinned back bangs, french braid around the left side into a side bun. I like having my hair out of the way on the mega windy days.
