Our destination for the adventure was Eisenach. It was a very cute town. We needed to get to the castle, which is at the top of the mountain. We walked through the town to get there, nearly a two mile trek. I'm glad we walked through the town, because we stumbled across the Bach statue and house on our way, which was not planned. Eisenach was very similar to Goettingen in a lot of ways, but very unique as well. Ethan and I enjoyed seeing a different town.

The whole town had cobblestone streets and sidewalks everywhere. They are so old and beautiful.
Just like Goettingen, there were beautiful flowers everywhere.

We came into a clearing at the end of the above street, and saw this:
And right next to the statue, very unassuming, was this house. It happens to be the house where Bach was born and grew up.
We all thought this was funny, only because we were all tired from walking up the steep hills.
Gorgeous hydrangea. It was so vibrant, I thought it was fake at first.
We didn't realize this before we went, but Eisenach used to be part of Eastern Germany. They still have all the iconic Ampelmännchen (little traffic light men) all over town. It was pretty cool to see it in person.
