Kassel and Views from the Train

On Saturday, we went on an adventure with the Williams family. We took a train to Eisenach to see the Wartburg Castle (more on that in another post). We had about a 2 hour 'layover' in Kassel, which is a city about 30 minutes from Goettingen. We walked around the train station for a little while.

We are excited to be on an adventure.

Modern Art outside the train station.

Kassel is a pretty big city. It's where the Grimm Brothers were from. It's also where one of the kings ruled from for a while. There is a castle and a monument to Hercules here. We are going to go back on another day to see the Hercules monument.
